A key question on decision-makers' minds is how to enhance their ability to understand where the data is and how to prevent it from being compromised or used for malicious reasons, Yépez said. With the advent of AI, data has become exponential and so has the demand for next-generation identity platforms that help gain the right visibility and apply appropriate controls over sensitive datasets.
In this video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA Conference 2024, Yépez also discussed:
- The growing convergence of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity;
- The importance of international collaboration in cybercriminal takedowns;
- The role of regulations in shaping software supply chain security.
Yépez is one of the pioneers of the cybersecurity industry and has played significant roles as a CEO and board member as well as an angel and venture capital investor. He currently focuses on cybersecurity investments.
