It's not just the latest marketing buzz. Confidential computing is an actual initiative focused on helping to secure data in use. But what are the uses cases? In part two of a two-part podcast, Richard Curran of Intel leads an expert panel discussion on the practice of confidential computing.

Joining Curran on this panel are:

  • Patrick Conte, VP Business Development and Sales, Fortanix;
  • Raphael Auphan, COO and Co-Founder, Cosmian;
  • Christian Junger, CEO and Co-Founder, MADANA.

Curran holds the position of Chief Security Officer for Intel's Global Cloud, Ent& Gov Group Sales and is responsible for business development and coordination of Intel's security solutions and strategies to compliment all areas of the Datacentre, Cloud and Network Divisions.

Auphan is Co-Founder and President/COO of Cosmian, an enterprise software company focused on data security powered by cryptography. Prior to Cosmian, Raphael was CEO of Scilab, publisher of open-source numerical computational software for engineers and scientists.

Conte is Vice President, Business Development at Fortanix. In this multi-faceted role Patrick has responsibility for leading the company's engagements with key global Strategic, Technology and System Integrator Partners.
