Identity and the New Role of Privilege

CyberArk's Shay Nahari on Why and How Context Now Matters
Shay Nahari, VP, Red Team Services, CyberArk

As vice president of Red Team Services at CyberArk, Shay Nahari has an up-close view of an enterprise's soft defenses. He sees adversaries attack workforce users and compromise credentials. The lines between identity and privilege are colliding. More than ever, he says, context matters.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group, Nahari discusses:

  • The practical view of "identity as the new perimeter";
  • The new threat landscape and its impact on identity and privilege;
  • Why context is now the new key to PAM.

Nahari specializes in targeted cyber operations, malware evasion and offensive research. With nearly two decades of cybersecurity experience, he’s on the front lines in helping global organizations improve their ability to detect and react to targeted attacks using adversary simulation and advanced real-life tactics, techniques and procedures. Nahari previously founded and served as CEO of Red-Sec Inc., a red team and consulting services provider, and as a commander in the Israel Defense Forces communications unit. With a passion for hacking, he’s won multiple Capture the Flag competitions.
